St. Andrews Great Links: Scotland Day One: Depart USA, for Edinburgh, Scotland (night flight). Day Two: Arrive Edinburgh International Airport, Scotland. Transfer by coach to St. Andrews, check-in the Fairmont St. Andrews Bay Hotel. Lunch, play the Kittocks Course. Cocktails get together in the bar and buffet dinner in the Squire Restaurant. Day Three: A morning round on the Jubilee Course. In the afternoon visit Mary Queen of Scots favorite home, the fifteenth century French Renaissance Falkland Palace. Day Four: A morning round on the Old Course at (subject to availability). Afternoon visit to the City of Edinburgh, sightsee the Castle and shop the elegant stores on Princess Street. Dine at the King's Wark Pub in Leith and attend the famous Military Tattoo on the Castle Esplanade. Day Five: Travel along the Neuk of Fife to visit the picturesque Crail Harbor, followed by a round on Crail Golf Society's scenic Craighead Golf Course. Perhaps dinner at the Seafood Restaurant in St. Monans on the way home. Day Six: Play the latest addition to the St. Andrews legacy, the Castle Course designed by local Scot David Kidd also creator of the famed Bandon Dunes Course in Oregon. Sightsee St. Andrews Cathedral ruins and pay homage at the resting place of Old Tom Morris. Day Seven: Head north up the coast to Carnoustie to play the challenging 2007 Open Championship Course. How about fresh fish and chips and a pint on Arbroath Harbour on the way home? Day Eight: A special treat today, play the nearby Kingsbarns Links, one of Scotland's most scenic course. Time left for last minute shopping in the Royal and Ancient town or a visit to the Fairmont Spa to sooth tired golf muscles. Day Nine: Check-out St. Andrews Bay Hotel return to Edinburgh International Airport for the journey home.
