The Islands Tour
Skye. Plan to play the nine-hole Sconser Golf Club on Skye, if only for it's beauty or pass up golf and head up to Portree and check into the Cuillin Hills Hotel to enjoy the most spectacular views from any hotel in Scotland. Set within fifteen acres of mature private grounds the hotel overlooks Portree Bay with magnificent views over the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillin Mountain range. Tour Skye from here and be sure to stop at Dunvegan Castle home to the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod for over 700 years. Dine at Cuillin's unique View-Sea Food-See Art Restaurant. Next morning sail on the ferry from Uig, Skye to Lochmaddy on North Uist on the Outer Hebrides. Motor over the moors to South Uist to play the mystical Askernish Golf Club, a Tom Morris masterpiece lost for over seventy years and now restored.
